The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers general fire safety for ALL premises (excluding personal homes) in England and Wales. Whilst the Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the primary regulator for the Care Sector, local Fire and Rescue Service safety officers also have enforcement authority that can prohibit the use of a care home premise. 
Home office statistics for the period September 2012 to September 2018 showed an annual average of 439 care home fire incidences attended by Fire & Rescue services.

FIRE SAFETY TRAINING delivered on site with all courses having HANDS-ON practice with fire extinguishers. Half day annual courses include Fire Safety Awareness and Fire Marshal/Warden courses. Alternatively, sit our QNUK Level 2 Fire Marshal/Warden course with examination giving 3 years of certification. 
 
FIRE DOOR surveys, repairs & upgrades. FIRE STOPPING surveys & remedials. FIRE DAMPER testing & remedials for your air-conditioning ducts. 
 
PROJECT MANAGEMENT of all your required improvements (physical and administrative) following your Fire Risk Assessment, regardless of who undertook it. We stringently vet all of our trusted delivery partners for qualifications, accreditations and experience, so you don't have to. We can also help you understand your FRA and translate it into an easy to follow checklist.
